HELP CATCH THESE SCUMBAGS

TROY -- Hoping that someone will recognize the perpetrators, police today released the video of two brazen robbers shooting a Domino's Pizza shop worker in June.

Forrest Geraw, 29, was shot four times by two robbers at 2 a.m. June 13 while trying to thwart a strong-armed robbery at his Hoosick Street store.

He survived the attack.

The video shows a man in dark clothing wearing a New York Yankees cap coming through the front door of the shop and immediately threatening customers at a table. Suddenly Geraw in his blue and red uniform runs at him and tackles him pushing him back near the front door. A struggle ensues and the wrestling match moves off camera.

A second camera shows a man in dark clothing and a white hat rushing in through the back door.

''The guy who came through the back door shot the worker twice in the back of the head while he was wrestling with the other guy and then the guy he was wrestling with also shoots him twice,'' said Detective Sgt. David Dean.

The video ends with the pair running out the front door. They got no money.

''These guys are dangerous and we need to get them off the street,'' Dean said. ''We are hoping someone out there recognizes something.''

Geraw miraculously survived the attack and is recuperating.

''The fact that he survived is amazing,'' Dean said. ''He was talking to us the next day. He is one tough guy.''

A month before the shooting, Geraw foiled a late-night robbery by disarming a knife-wielding robber at his shop.

Domino's Pizza is offering a $5,000 award for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Geraw's shooters.
